It liiiives!
Urk, has it really been a year since I've posted in this journal? :/ Anyway, a few things:

1) If you're an American, GO VOTE TOMORROW, if you haven't already.

2) Forgot to crosspost it to LJ, but I finished my fic Yo Ho a little while back; you can read the last chapter, "A New Picture Book", at FFN. Dunno if I'm all that happy with it, but at least it's over.

3) I'm doing Yuletide this year! \o/

I put everything important in my prompts, but in case you want to do some snooping...

I guess the only dealbreaker I have is that I don't want smut; I don't read it, so if you write it for me things will be... awkward. Aside from that, I'm really very easy to please: I like comedy, I like angst, I like fluff, I like adventures, I like introspective fics, I like epic stuff, I like combinations of these things. I like happy endings, and sad endings*, and I really love bittersweet endings. As a very, very general rule, my preferences are gen > het > f/f > m/m -- but it's not like I hate m/m slash or anything. My fics are all under my fic tag, and if you want to see my reading preferences, you can check out my delicious bookmarks or my FFN favorites.

* With the exception of the Vorkosigan series prompt; I don't mind a bit of angst, but I don't want something completely depressing for that. Not that it has to have angst at all; fluff would also be wonderful! As I said, very easy to please.

4) I keep thinking I should start writing manga reviews for stuff that I like, especially the more obscure stuff. But I don't think I'm very good at articulating that kind of thing; there are a few exceptions, but generally my reactions to manga can be fully summed up in emoticons. I guess I could just do a lot of picspam...
